The Nelson Spindle Clock was designed in 1957 by Lucia DeRespinis, for George Nelson Associates. Lucia DeRespinis was the only female industrial designer in a team of some of the most celebrated designers of the time -- Irving Harper, Don Chadwick, Don Erin and Charles Pollack. In all, George Nelson Associates designed more than 150 clocks between 1948 and 1960.
Produced by Vitra, this is the authorized re-edition, produced using the original design specifications from the Nelson archive and with the permission of the George Nelson estate.
